Eric Crouch Discusses Future Plans

Former Nebraska quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Eric crouch spoke to the media Thursday for the first time in almost a month. Crouch discussed why he quit professional football. He says if he does return to the NFL, it would only be if he could play quarterback. Crouch says he left the Saint Louis Rams primarily because of lingering injuries, not because he was asked to play wide receiver. Crouch says he has no timeline for when he may try to return, but he says it will only be after he is healthy.

The 23-year-old shocked his fans last month when he announced his retirement from the Rams, only nine months after playing in his last college game. The decision came less than five months after being drafted in the third round of the NFL's April draft and before he could play in a regular season game.
