Eric Vela Pleads Guilty To 13 Counts

One of four men charged in murder of five people at a Norfolk bank branch plead guilty to all 13 counts against him. Eric Vela offered the pleas June 12th in Madison county court. He was scheduled for pre-trial motions in court June 12th. Instead, he stared at the floor and entered guilty pleas. Police say Vela confessed to an F.B.I. agent soon after his arrest on the day of the shootings. They say he told authorities he fired shots at the desk where a 29-year-old newlywed, Lisa Bryant was hiding. A jury will now help determine if vela will be sentenced to death.
