Fire Breaks Out At Bed, Bath & Beyond

Firefighters rushed to Bed Bath and Beyond Saturday morning after reports of flames in the entry way.

Battalion Chief Pat Borer says the fire started at the north 27th street store just before 6am.

When crews arrived the sprinkler system already put out the flames. Borer says there's fire damage to the lobby and smoke and water damage throughout the store.

The store manager says bed bath and beyond is closed Saturday but hopefully will reopen Sunday.

Damage is estimated at around 50 thousand dollars.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
