Fire Investigators May Have Cause for Christmas Day Fire
Lincoln fire investigators say a candle display may have caused an early morning Christmas fire that killed two people. Edward and Janet O'Shea were both killed. Investigators think that a candle left burning may have ignited a live Christmas tree.
Fire fighters responded to the call shortly after three Thursday morning. The home was completely engulfed when they arrived. It's believed the elderly couple had entertained family and friends on Christmas Eve. Hours later, the fire started claiming their lives. The damage to the home is estimated to be more than 5-hundred thousand dollars.
