Meet Isaiah Junior.

He came into the world at 12:02 a.m. New Years Day at Bryan Medical Center. This is the first baby for mother Cadishia Thompson and Father Isaiah Love.

"I heard the baby cry," Isaiah Love said. "I just wanted to hold him. Get my baby in my arms."

Cadishia was in labor for 19 hours, including a C-Section around 11 p.m.

"I fell asleep and when I heard him cry I woke up," she said. "Now that he’s here, I don’t have to imagine what he looks like."

Isaiah Jr. was six pounds, nine ounces, and 19 inches tall.

"He’s a pretty strong baby," Cadishia said.

The couple has been together for four years, and they have an extensive support team there to help out.

"His family was here and then my family too," Cadishia said. "So it was like everybody crowded in one room."

And it was the family who first noticed the fireworks, ringing in both the New Year, and the newest little Lincolnite.
