Former Husker Green Has Record Day

Green Bay, WI-On Sunday afternoon former Husker running back Ahman Green broke two Green Bay Packers team records as the Pack beat Denver 31-3 and advanced to the playoffs.  Green rushed for 218 yards and scored 2 touchdowns.  The 218 yards set a Packers single game mark while the 2 TD's gave him 20 for the season.  His 20 scores moved him ahead of Jim Taylor's team record of 19.  Green also had a 98 yard touchdown run in the 3rd quarter which is the second longest in NFL history behind former Dallas Cowboys' running back Tony Dorsett's 99 yard TD run back in 1983.
