Freshman class making early impact in Frost’s second year
LINCOLN, Neb. – Scott Frost wasn’t shy about his fondness for the 2019 recruiting class back on Signing Day in February.
“We’ve got a group of winners.”
So far in Fall Camp, those “winners” are turning into early assets for the Husker football team. Even outside of headliner names like all-purpose back Wan’Dale Robinson and defensive end Ty Robinson, young athletes have made their presence felt across the board.
“I think there’s several guys that are going to be household names in Nebraska someday,” Frost said. “There’s improvement across the board that should help us from a frontline talent standpoint but also from a depth standpoint.”
Several players making waves this Fall Camp include Quinton Newsome, Rahmir Johnson, Luke Reimer, Myles Farmer, Noa Pola-Gates, Chris Hickman, Jackson Hannah, Demariyon Houston, Darien Chase and many others.
