Governor to visit Hallam to discuss aid

Governor Mike Johanns is offering tornado victims some renewed hope. It comes in the form of 800-thousand dollars. The governor announced this morning that tornado victims in four counties that were declared disaster areas, will be able to get a piece of the pie. He's hoping this will encourage people to rebuild. The money is coming from what's called the nebraska affordable housing trust fund. It's grant money set aside specifically for disasters like this one in Hallam. Home owners will be eligible for up to 10-thousand dollars.  However, there are requirements you must meet before you can be eligible to get some money. A meeting is planned for Wednesday July 7th,  at 7pm in Hallam to explain more details on that.
