The GuestHouse Inn on Cornhusker highway is back open after it abruptly closed two weeks ago. Money problems caused the hotel to temporarily close. The new managers say they're making improvements by cleaning, putting in new carpet, and making renovations. They say despite what happened last month, they would never just close up shop without telling anyone.

“If we're ever in a crisis or if that would ever happen, I would try and work through it and let people know what was going on so it's not an emergency situation. It puts people in a very bad spot,” Tami Wardyn with LAMI Enterprises said.

They've already started renting out rooms and they're booked up all through this weekend. They've also reopened their restaurant and bar.
