Names wanted for new LPS elementary school

Help name the new LPS elementary school.

Naming schools is an important opportunity for a community.
The Lincoln Board of Education is now accepting suggestions to name the new Lincoln Public Schools elementary school to be built in southeast Lincoln in the Vintage Heights neighborhood, northwest of South 98th Street and Pine Lake Road.  The school is scheduled to open for the 2012-13 school year.

“I'm very pleased at the many suggestions we've already received,” said Ed Zimmer, School Board naming committee member.  “All of the names submitted will be brought to the community committee to assist in the naming process.”
