Howard Johnson Hotel robbed at gunpoint

Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Howard Johnson Hotel.
They say it happened just before 9:15 p.m. Monday on NW 12th Street, just east of the Lincoln Airport.
Officers say the suspect pointed a black handgun at the front desk clerk and demanded cash, which he got away with and fled on foot.
They say the suspect is described as a white male, about 6’0″ with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and a blue bandanna covering his face.
Police say no one was injured.
The case is still under investigation. We’ll have more details on our morning show.
