Husker Baseballers Hammer Lopers To Improve To 10-2 on Season

Lincoln–Led by a 3-6 performance at the plate by junior outfidler Brandon Fusilier the 12th-ranked Nebraska baseball team downed visiting Nebraska-Kearney 12-2 on Tuesday at Haymarket Park.  The Huskers hammered out 16 hits and 6 NU pitchers combine to shut down the Lopers offense.

Junior Quinton Robertson needed just 7 pitches to retire the first 3 UNK batters in the first inning.  Robertson improved his record to 3-0 on the season with the victory.

The Huskers will travel to Texas to open up Big 12 play in a 3-game weekend series at A&M.
