Huskers Fall At Texas 3-1

Close but not cigar.

After splitting the first two sets, the 3rd-ranked Husker volleyball team was unable to take advantage of leads in both the 3rd and 4th sets, eventually falling to #4 Texas 3-1.

Texas' Destinee Hooker posted a season-high 24 kills, including an astounding 12 in the first set alone, along with no errors.

Three Huskers went for double-digit kills, paced by senior Jordan Larson's team-high 15.

Junior Kori Cooper went down in the 4th set with an injury to her left knee.  She never returned to the match.

The loss drops Nebraska into a tie for 1st in the Big 12 with Texas.  Assuming both teams win their final two conference games, they'll split the Big 12 title for the second straight year.
