Police say the jaws of life was used on both vehicles to free two drivers and a baby.
The accident happened Monday night at around 9 p.m. near 27th & Fairfield just north of Cornhusker Hwy.
Police say they were called to the scene after neighbors heard a loud bang. Police Sgt. Randy Clark says the driver of the Cadillac drifted over into the other lane, crashing head on with a small Toyota.
Police say the driver of the Cadillac, a woman, was able to hand her baby to firefighters through a window. She was ticketed for negligent driving and no insurance.
Both drivers and the baby were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Police say none of the injuries are life threatening. We were also told the baby was in a car seat.
