Jewelry stolen from unlocked car

Lincoln Police say more than $8,000-worth of jewelry was stolen from a car.
Capt. David Beggs says a man living in the 1900 block of North Gate Road reported seeing three people inside his unlocked vehicle in the driveway around 12:30 Saturday morning. The man says they took an anniversary band, a wedding band, necklaces and other jewelry items along with a phone before running away.
Police do not have suspect descriptions. The estimated loss is $8,400.
