Jury Selection Underway in Lincoln Murder Trial

Jury selection began Monday morning, for the man accused of shooting and killing a UNL soccer player, and injuring another person last April.

Lucky Iromuanya is charged with 4-counts, including 2nd degree murder in the death of Jenna Cooper. The 21 year old was a Big-12 standout with the Nebraska women's soccer team. Police say back in April, she attended a party near 35th and Van Dorn streets. Police say Lucky Iromuanya got into an argument with Nolan Jenkins about whether he had stolen shotglasses from Cooper's home. Police say Iromaunya then pulled out a hand gun, shot Jenkins in the left side of the head but the bullet also hit Cooper who was standing nearby.  She was killed.  Jury selection is exptected to continue Tuesday.
