Kansas man charged in fatal crash that killed Lincoln man
A 23-year-old Kansas man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for a car crash that killed a Lincoln man.
Zachary Harrison has been jailed on $175,000 bond and is also charged with three counts of aggravated battery and leaving the scene of an accident. Three others were injured in the crash that killed 21-year-old Cameron Freeman.
Harrison is accused of stealing a newspaper carrier's truck Nov. 23 on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence and rear-ending the car Freeman and his friends were was riding in. Freeman was a backseat passenger in the car. He was a Lincoln East High graduate and a student at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
