LaCouture De-Commits from Nebraska

BigRedReport.com reported early Sunday morning that Lincoln Southwest defensive end Christian LaCouture has de-committed from Nebraska. The news comes two days after the Silver Hawks lost in the first round of the Class A State Football Playoffs.

LaCouture, who is rated as the 13th best defensive end in the country by Scout.com, said the move was for “personal reasons” and is no longer considering Nebraska.

Prior to the 2012 season, LaCouture transferred from College Station, Texas to join fellow Husker commit Josh Banderas at Southwest.

LaCouture has received interest from Michigan, Missouri, Texas A&M, and LSU.
