Lancaster County Super Fair preview

If you're looking for some family fun this summer.  There's a super event about to kick off in lincoln. We have a sneak peak of the upcoming County Fair.

Rick Hinman and the county fair crew are gearing up at the Lancaster Event Center for the Super Fair.  This year they're doubling the days from five to ten to make time for more food and more games. Also new : fair officials hired a company to manage parking and help handle expected super sized crowds.

“Folks turned out last year in record numbers I think they'll turn out again we have 107,000 last year this year I'm expecting 150 to 170 [thousand].” Rick Hinman with the Event Center said.

Entertainment for all with monster trucks, wii and x–box.  More vendors and of course the midway. Trying to fill big shoes because the County fair is the only fair in the Capital city now that the State Fair has a new home in Grand Island.

“With two of them in town you probably chose one over the other now with just us I think we will benefit from them moving, that's not to say the State Fair won't draw but we'll get our fair share of patrons,” Hinman said.

The only thing left? How do you get your ticket to get in? Although you can pick up a free gate pass at U Stop, because they are a major sponsor of the event.

However, everyone will receive free admission.
