Late night sirens sound in Lincoln

Did you hear the sirens last night? Many Lincoln/Lancaster County residents were alarmed to hear them.
The area was under a severe thunderstorm watch, however, there was no immediate threat from weather in Lincoln. The tornado sirens sounded at around 11:30 p.m.
Lancaster County officials say the triggered sirens was unintentional. We'll have more information on this as details become available.
