Latsch’s Office Products was founded by brothers Robert and Jerome Latsch in 1916. Originally located in downtown Lincoln the company has grown since then, and now they’re celebrating 100 years in business.

The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce kicked off the celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony. So what’s helped them endure for so many years?

"I think it really starts out with the employees. I mean if you don’t have the employees it’s not going to work at all, and we’ve just been fortunate for 100 years that we’ve had great staff and we’ve treated our customers the right way," Vice President John Costin said.

The owners say they have clients in Lincoln and across the country. They say their customer service has earned them great relationships,
and their adaptability has allowed them to expand their reach.

"Over the last 20 years the industry has changed dramatically, and allowed us to get into other areas and change with the time. We don’t just rely on pens and pads anymore," President Mike Decker said.

Latsch’s supports many other local community organizations and each year in August they’re one of the sponsors of Stuff the Bus with Raising Cane’s. They provide hundreds of Lincoln students with back to school supplies.

The owners say they’re proud to be members of the community and they hope to continue to do so for another century.
