Lincoln Fire and Rescue spent about an hour on scene of a fire in the Capitol Beach neighborhood Monday afternoon. The call came in shortly before 3:00 p.m.

Division Chief Roger Bonin says a construction crew was hanging drywall upstairs when they noticed smoke. When crews arrived on scene they found a small fire in the attic, but had it under control within 10 minutes.

LFR says the home was undergoing some remodeling and nobody currently lives inside the house.  Damage is believed to be fairly minimal.
