Lincoln Gets Hit With More Snow, Again

The Capitol City is under a snow emergency Monday morning. That comes as street-crews worked around the clock to clean away this latest batch of snow. Our second major snow in just a week is leaving Lincoln streets blanketed in white, and Lincoln drivers slipping and sliding.

Public Works had over ninety pieces of equipment working to scrape the snow off of the snow routes and major streets Sunday night.

The snow emergency means there is a parking ban along Lincoln's emergency snow routes and major streets. To find out exactly where the snow routes are here in the Capitol City, you can turn to page 38 in the blue pages of your Alltel phone book.
