Lincoln police are looking for 4 suspects in a late night home invasion robbery.

It happened around midnight Monday.  Police say four men attempted to enter and rob a home near 29th and Orchard St. in north Lincoln.

Lincoln police say during the attempted robbery one man was injured, but nothing had been taken.

Police say four men kicked in the front door of the home.  They report at least one of the suspects was carrying a handgun.  A man from the home suffered a split ear after chasing down one of the would–be robbers and catching him.  Police say the other three came to the suspect's aid and attacked the victim.  He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.

Police say a K–9 track led police to latex gloves, a bandana and a magazine from an air soft gun belonging to the suspects.  Officers also found two 45-caliber rounds outside the front door of the home.  The rounds were not fired from a gun.

Police are still looking for four men in their 20's.  Investigators say they had on dark clothing and bandanas.
