A 28-year-old Lincoln man has pleaded no contest to manslaughter before his second trial for a fatal shooting in 2006. Anthony Riley II made his plea on Tuesday. In return, prosecutors dropped three charges of attempted murder.

Riley faces up to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced on Nov. 14. He'd been convicted in 2009 of manslaughter and other charges for fatally shooting Doyle Bryant III in August 2006 and wounding two other men in a car with Bryant.

But the Nebraska Supreme Court overturned the convictions this past April, saying some testimony against Riley shouldn't have been allowed at trial.
