Lincoln marathon information

The Lincoln Marathon is growing into a huge capital city event.  It's the 34th annual Lincoln National Guard Marathon and Half Marathon.

This year, 10,000 runners will take part in the race.  The full marathon is 26.2 miles and the half marathon is 13.1 miles.  The race starts at 7:00 a.m. at UNL coliseum on Sunday morning and the winners will likely enter memorial stadium around 9:00 a.m.

There were so many runners entered into this year's marathon that some people weren't able to participate.

Volunteers will assist the runners by keeping them hydrated and fed and fans as usual will line the marathon route.
