Lincoln police bust 12th house for growing pot

Lincoln police say they've found remnants of another suspected marijuana growing operation, making for their 12th bust since March 5.

Officers seized planters, light bulbs, lights and some dead marijuana plants from the south Lincoln house they raided on Wednesday.

Police said no live plants were found inside. Since early March, police have seized more than 8,000 marijuana plants and served more than 15 search warrants in their investigation into a large pot growing ring in the Lincoln area.

Five people have been charged in connection with the investigation.
