Police say the child was found unresponsive in a northeast Lincoln home.
Lincoln authorities say an autopsy has been scheduled Wednesday on the toddler. Lincoln Police Capt. Jim Davidsaver says police and firefighters were called to a Lincoln residence near 63rd and Fremont at around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. That's where they found the body of a child who appeared to be under 3 years old.
Police have not released any more details about the investigation. No arrests have been reported, and the names of those involved have not been released.
