LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Southwest senior Emma Kauf has been named a first team high school all-american by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Monday. She is the fourth Nebraska, and second player from Lincoln Southwest, to be named to the first team.

Kauf batted .603 for the Silver Hawks last season, with an all-time NSAA record of 19 home runs and 79 runs scored.

Her coach Mark Watt says, "She is without a doubt the best high school hitter in Nebraska."

Kauf is committed to play softball at Georgia Tech.
