In conjunction with the USHL, the Lincoln Stars will host a 2019 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game press conference at the Ice Box on Monday, January 7th at 1:00 pm central time. The conference will be in advance of the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game scheduled for Tuesday, January 8th at 7:05 pm central.
Lincoln Stars head coach Cody Chupp will serve as head coach for Team West. Chupp is in the midst of his second year as Stars head coach and is making his second appearance at a Top Prospects Game following his role as an assistant at last year’s event. Muskegon Lumberjacks head coach Mike Hamilton will coach Team East. The Lumberjacks own the USHL’s best record at 23-5-1-0 in Hamilton’s second year at the helm. Each coach will speak at the press conference and take questions regarding the Top Prospects event.
All media are welcomed to attend both the conference and the game, but those intending to cover the game on Tuesday are asked to fill out the RSVP form attached to this email to receive necessary credentials. Email completed forms to email@example.com no later than Sunday, January 6th.

The two-day event will begin on Monday, Jan. 7 with a press-conference and an on-ice testing session. Off-ice measurements conducted by NHL Central Scouting will take place Tuesday, followed by the game itself on Tuesday evening. Lincoln is one of just six cities to host the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game since 2012, and Nebraska teams have been hosts in three of the last four years.
