Lincoln Teen Arrested 38 Times

The Lincoln man, who was driving a car that crashed and killed a 15-year-old girl, is back behind bars.

18-year-old Ricky Turco and three other teens were arrested early Tuesday morning for burglarizing Lincoln high school.

Now, besides manslaughter, Turco is facing a second felony charge, and needs 50-thousand dollars to get out of jail.

15-year-old Megan Churchill used to go to school at Lincoln high before the March accident at 19th and Stockwell.

Turco attended school there too.

Police officers were called to the school around 1 a.m. when custodians heard a noise inside the building.

Officers caught Turco, a 15-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy trying to run away.

Officials say 18-year-old Craig Squires managed to jump a fence.

But, he was quickly caught by police.

Police estimate the four teens did 15,000 dollars in damage when they took everything from golf clubs to windows, computers and vending machines.

The suspects aren't strangers to the Lincoln police department.

Turco has been charged for 38 separate crimes.

He's been found guilty 16 times.

Turco's expected back in court on these charges June 19th.

The two minors meanwhile were lodged in youth detention for burglary and criminal mischief.
