Lincoln Trucker’s DNA Tested for Several Crimes

Oklahoma officials are testing the DNA of a Nebraska truck driver to see if he's connected to ten killings in seven states. A spokeswoman in the Oklahoma County District Attorney's office says a test has been performed on Carl Wayne Lawson to see if his DNA matches that of the killer in the string of homicides. Results are not yet back. Lawson was charged last week with rape, kidnapping and assault after a woman was found injured near Interstate 35 in northern Oklahoma. Oklahoma authorities say efforts will be made to extradite Lawson from Lincoln, where he was arrested last week on the Oklahoma warrant.
