LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — If you’ve been on social media at all on Saturday, you may have seen the #JoshFight trending. Well, after a full-out battle of the Josh’s, the now one and only Josh has been crowned.

Four-year-old Josh Vinson Jr. was handed a Burger King crown, a champions belt, and a tiny trophy to commemorate his victory. He’s now being dubbed Little Josh on social media. His dad, Josh Vinson Sr., said Little Josh will remember this moment for the rest of his life.
People hoisted up the winner as everyone shouted ‘Little Josh’, waving their pool noodles in the air as the tiny victor was blinded by his new crown but still had the biggest smile on his face.
Hundreds of people gathered in Lincoln to watch the biggest battle of the Josh’s in history.
It all began when Josh Swain sent the following Facebook message to a group of people with his same name in 2020:
“we fight, whoever wins gets to keep the name, everyone else has to change their name, you have a year to prepare, good luck”
Swain never expected it to go viral, but it did. Only one other Josh Swain showed up to the fight on Saturday, but dozens of Josh’s brought their pool noodles to joust it out in hopes of keeping their name.
It was a moment Little Josh, Josh Swain, and the hundreds of spectators will never forget.
During the event, several participants and spectators brought non-perishable food items to donate to the Lincoln Food Bank.
Josh Swain also set up a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, which has far exceeded its goal of $1,000 with more than $8,000 in donations as of 4:30 pm Saturday.
