Local Families React
While Americans watched the large statue of Saddam Hussein fall April 9th. Some felt relief that the war may be coming to a close. But some Lincoln families says they're still concerned about their son's safety. Jon Otis is in the army and part of his duties include operating radar. His wife, Casey, says the hardest part is that her husband had to leave just four days after their first child was born. Jon's parents say it was great to see the Iraqi people rejoicing but the war is far from over. The Otis's also have another son in the service but he's not in active duty right now. They say they expect Jon to come home by February.
