Local Supermarkets Help Tsunami Victims

Russ's and Super Saver Markets are stepping in to help victims of Sunday's deadly Tsunamis. Tuesday, the president of B&R Stores, which owns the markets, announced they will offer a Round-up program. You can donate by simply rounding up your purchase total. That extra money will go toward the Red Cross International Relief Fund. The stores- with locations throughout the state- will take donations through January ninth.

You can also donate by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-HELP-NOW.

The Salvation Army is also taking donations. You can send your donations earmarked “Disaster Relief” to them at 2625 Potter St., Lincoln, 68506 or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
