Local Teens Want to Spread the Word Concerning Teen Pregnancy
Some local teens are helping spread the word about teen pregnancy prevention. At age 18, Clorissa Lee is a single mother with 'two' children. She now lives in a Lincoln group-home with 13 other females in similar situations. She spends her days getting her kids to day-care, while she works on getting her GED and job-hunting. Clorissa had to drop out of high school when she had her first child at age-16. Clorissa hopes that telling her story will illustrate the importance of avoiding pregnancy and parenthood too early in life.
Beginning Wednesday, teens are being asked log onto a website at www.teenpeople.com and take a quiz that asks young people what they would do in a number of sexual situations. The quiz will remain on line for most of the month of May.
