Local Women Share Thoughts on Palin

Talk hasn't stopped since John McCain selected Alaska's governor, Sara Palin as his vice-presidential candidate.

There's no doubt Sara Palin is a new face to national politics, but what do Nebraskan women think about her?

Women from Republican and Democratic parties we talked to say so far they like Palin.

Some women we spoke with question whether Palin has enough experience and whether she can juggle it all: 5 children, one with down syndrome and a 17 year old daughter who's pregnant.

Channel 8 Eyewitness News spoke with Becki Gaston, who's the chair of the Lancaster County Democrats.

She says she doesn't think Palin should be a replacement for Hillary Clinton supporters because the two people believe in completely different things.

She says a candidate shouldn't be chosen based simply on their gender.
