Lisa Lord, a senior from Indianola, was named to the list for the second time.  Lord is a psychology and sociology major and the daughter of Tim & Kathy Lord.  This past year, she posted 101 kills, 67 assists and 78 blocks for the Tigers.

Desiree Erikson, a junior from Comstock, was recognized for the first time.  Erikson is a double major as well, taking on biology and chemistry.  She is the daughter of Perry and Carol Erikson.  In 2011, she posted 1,062 assists, 282 assists and 27 ace serves.  She was recently named to the Capital One Academic All-District 6 team.
