LPD: Man tasered during disturbance call

Lincoln Police say the suspect had a knife and wouldn't drop it.

It happened Monday morning at 2 a.m. near 48th & Benton.  Police say they were called to a disturbance at the north Lincoln address.  When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Mehdi Darvishi with a knife.  When he refused to drop it police say they tasered him.

Darvishi was taken to the hospital and then to jail.  He was arrested for terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, resisting arrest, assault and trespassing.
