More details revealed regarding the home invasion incident in Lincoln.

We learned a little more today about a scary home invasion incident over the weekend.  It happened near 57th and M Streets early Sunday morning.  A 14–year–old was watching over his 2 sisters when he heard a rattling noise at the door.  Police say 5 men forced their way inside, pulled out a gun, and demanded cash.

The men left after the boy handed over some money. Police say the intruders most likely knew the mother.  Police say the suspects ransacked the living room and the mother's bedroom. Right now the only description on the suspects is that all were wearing dark colored hoodies and winter hats.

“During the investigation, strong odor of marijuana was detected inside the home. A search revealed several baggies of marijuana with residue scattered along the floor as well as several scales,” says Officer Katie Flood.
