Police say the suspect has a long criminal history.

Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood says 38-year-old Andrew Moore was arrested for the burglaries of three businesses in the Haymarket.  Officer Flood says Moore was arrested Thursday night for the burglaries that occurred Tuesday, July 19th.  From Nebraska, Licorice International, and 10,000 Villages all had cash taken from the stores.  A Haymarket Theatre employee working late saw the suspect.

Flood says police served a search warrant in his motel room and found a large number of $1 bills, clothing that matched the description by a witness, and a container of licorice.  Flood says a Licorice International employee confirmed that the container was the same kept on the desk before the theft.

Police say Moore was not in the motel room during the search.  He was located at around 6 p.m. Thursday near 48th and Garland streets.
