UPDATE: One in custody after downtown stabbing

Tyler Jones, a 24-year-old Lincoln man is behind bars for stabbing a man in downtown Lincoln Monday.
Police say they responded to reports of a stabbing near 13th and M streets at 3:00 p.m.
Officers found the victim, who had a four-inch long, two-inch deep laceration on his should.
He told police he and Jones were fighting when Jones pulled a 12-inch knife out of his jacket, and stabbed the victim.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Jones ran away before police got there. They did locate and arrest him at his residence later on.
Initially, Jones declined to speak about what happened, but officers served a search warrant that turned up the knife and bloody clothing.
Jones was arrested for first degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and carrying a concealed weapon.
Lincoln Police have made an arrest in a stabbing case.
It happened near 13th and M streets Monday afternoon.
Officials say that the victim will survive.
No names have been released.
