LPD: Teen repeatedly rams cart corrals at Target, causes $8K in damage

Lincoln police said a teenager rammed a vehicle into cart corrals at a Lincoln Target causing thousands of dollars in damage. 

Police said a witness reported the 16-year-old repeatedly rammed his vehicle into the corrals in the parking lot of the Target at 5330 S 56th Street around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. 

Police said several of the corrals were bent, and estimated the damage at $8,000. 

The teen was later involved in a rollover accident and taken to Bryan West for treatment, police said. 

The teen was referred to the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office for criminal mischief.
