LSO investigating high speed crash

A man is recovering from minor injuries he got in a high speed crash.
Lancaster County Sheriff Office says Brent Cook of Sterling, was clocked going 100 miles per hour by a deputy running radar near SW 70th and West Van Dorn Streets.
The deputy followed Cook. At the intersection of SW 84th and West Van Dorn, Cook lost control and crashed into some trees.
He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Cook was cited for multiple traffic violations including speeding, reckless driving and open container.
There was a breathalyzer in the car and the Sheriff’s Office is investigating to see if alcohol is a factor.
