Updated: LSO investigating Lincoln man’s death

The Lancaster County Sheriff's office is investigating the death of a 29-year-old Lincoln man.

He's been identified by Sheriff Terry Wagner as 29-year-old Scott Grass of Lincoln.  LSO Deputies were called to 670 Tyler street in Bennet around 2:30 Friday morning on a report of a man with a gunshot wound.

When deputies arrived, Grass was pronounced dead at the scene.

“This is kind of a strange occurrence.  The victim is a 29-year-old Lincoln man who was staying with a friend who lives in a pop-up camper that's parked in the driveway of some other friends there in Bennet,” Sheriff Terry Wagner said.

The Sheriff's office says they are investigating all aspects of the death.
