LSO: Man shot at wife, 11-year-old son

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office arrested a man it says fired shots at his wife and her son early Wednesday morning.

Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says it all started after the couple got into an argument.  “The husband pulled out a .45 caliber revolver from a nightstand and fired two rounds at the wall in the direction of his wife.  He also fired at her 11-year-old son who was fleeing the upstairs portion of the house at that time.”

Wagner says McPherson then strangled his wife until another male resident was able to pull him off of her.  He says the two fled the home along with the son as McPherson fired two times in their direction.

LSO arrested for strangulation, child abuse, terrorist threats and using a firearm to commit a felony.
