Maddie’s Birthday Bash

After her brave fight with pediatric brain cancer, family and friends celebrate Maddie Brown's birthday with a fundraiser to benefit cancer-related charities.
Maddie Brown was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November, 2011. During her
illness, Maddie showed her family and friends how to be strong and fight
like a tiger. Sadly, sixteen-year-old Maddie passed away on July 13, 2013.

To celebrate Maddie's birthday, family and friends are planning a fun night
to raise funds for some of Maddie's favorite organizations: Sunshine Kids,
Peach's Neet Feet, Lighthouse Family Retreat, and The F.I.L.M. Project. They
will also accept donations for Chloe Nore, another Lincoln teen who is
fighting a brain tumor.
“The organizations we are raising money for brought joy to Maddie's life in
her last years,” said Joy Rangel, Maddie's mother. “She would be pleased to
know we are helping them to bless other kids like her! She would also be
happy to help Chloe in her fight!”
Maddie's birthday bash will be on March 29. 2014 at 6pm at The Towers Event
Center in Lincoln. Festivities will include a silent auction, balloon
release, and a chance for Maddie's friends to spread a little joy in her
