Man Arrested For Vehicular Homicide In Sioux City

Police have made an arrest in the death of a Nebraska man who was hit by a car as he crossed a Sioux City street.

Twenty-four-year-old Ryan Deming of Sioux City was being held Sunday at a local jail. He’s suspected of vehicular homicide, drunken driving and other traffic offenses.

Police say he’s the driver of the car that hit 61-year-old Edward Miller of Jackson, Neb., on Saturday night. Miller was found lying in the street with severe head trauma and later died at Mercy Medical Center.

The driver of the car that hit him left the scene, but police say Deming’s car had damage that matched the crash.
