A Lincoln woman is stabbed multiple times and police say her ex–boyfriend is the suspect.

Lincoln police say he's been arrested for attempted first degree murder.  Lincoln police say it happened at an apartment near S.14th and B Streets just after 10 last night.

Neighbors told police they heard a female screaming upstairs in her apartment and then saw her running from the home covered in blood.  Officers say the 21–year–old woman suffered multiple stab wounds to her torso and arms.

Police arrested 23–year–old Kaw Say at the apartment, which was the home of the victim.

Investigators say the suspect had broken up with the woman earlier that day and threatened to kill her. Later last night, she agreed to watch a movie with Say who pulled out a knife during the movie and began stabbing her.

The victim was rushed into surgery.  Police say the woman's injuries are considered not life threatening.
