Meth Lab Found in Southwest Lincoln

Both Lincoln police and neighbors are concerned after a meth lab was discovered just blocks from an elementary school. Lincoln police were called a wooded area about nine o'clock Monday morning. By the time they arrived no one was in sight. Apparently an employee from a nearby business noticed a vapor cloud and two men unloading their cars. So police started to tear apart the meth lab. Unfortunately they say this time of year meth labs tend to pop up more.

Police also say the number of meth labs has grown from last year. This year, in the city and county there have been 50. Last year it was 44. Police are looking for two men who may be responsible for this latest meth lab. If you have any information that could help police, call Crimestoppers at 475-3600.
